Due to the shallow immersion depth, it can also be used for shallow water applications.<br \/>The entire oil barrier cover consists of a highly tear-resistant polyester carrier fabric (Panama weave) coated on both sides with vinyl.<br \/>The polystyrene buoyancy bodies in segmental construction are tightly welded into the HF oil barrier shell. The spinal column-like arrangement achieves a particularly high degree of flexibility in use.<br \/>In the hem of the skirt, weights are tightly fitted in an additional vinyl cover as ballast compensation and for counter-stability of the HF oil boom.
