Passive oil barrier type R 200 L
The floating body barrier type R 200 L is a variant of the proven oil barrier type R 200. Both types have identical dimensions and can therefore be combined. As a further development of the proven design, the barrier type R 200 L has air-filled floats.
This reduces the required transport and storage volume to an absolute minimum, indispensable when there is only limited storage space in the emergency vehicle! To ensure the best possible robustness, the float is designed as a separate, internal hose. This means that the buoyancy is maintained even if the outer shell is damaged. The barrier is filled by means of a low-pressure filling injector in the shortest possible time directly at the place of use.
Special features:
Air-filled floats, thus compactly rollable and minimal storage volume. Adaptable to lock type R 200 and with comparable range of applications.

Storage and transport
The R 200 L oil barrier can be rolled away to save space due to its air-filled float. A single segment of 10 m fits, for example, into a plastic stacking box with the dimensions 40 x 40 x 50 cm (L/W/H).
It can also be mounted on a reel (vertically or horizontally) and has proven its worth.
